On November 1, 2025, the Chief Executive Officer of Guotai Junan Securities (Vietnam) participated in the Conference on the Establishment of an International Financial Center (IFC) in Vietnam, co-hosted by the Ministry of Finance and the Government Office at the Government Office headquarters in Hanoi.

The Conference on the Establishment of the International Financial Center in Vietnam was chaired by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
The conference was chaired by Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính, with the attendance of Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyễn Hòa Bình, Deputy Prime Minister Hồ Đức Phớc, senior officials from ministries and central agencies, economic experts, as well as representatives from domestic and international financial institutions, banks, and securities firms.
As Vietnam accelerates its international integration, the establishment of an International Financial Center is considered a strategic step to enhance the country’s position on the regional and global financial map. Delegates at the conference discussed key directions for developing and operating the IFC, focusing on policy mechanisms, governance models, legal frameworks, technological infrastructure, and strategies to attract international investors and financial institutions.
The IFC is expected to become a new growth engine for Vietnam’s financial market — diversifying financial products, enhancing competitiveness, attracting high-quality capital inflows, and fostering sustainable economic growth.
