Hanoi, September 13, 2024 – Guotai Junan Securities (Vietnam) Corp. (GTJA Vietnam) and Caitong Securities Hong Kong Limited (Caitong Securities Hong Kong) have officially signed a Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Agreement, marking a new milestone in their international partnership to enhance competitiveness and expand business in the Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia markets.

The signing ceremony took place on the afternoon of September 13, 2024, at GTJA (Vietnam)’s headquarters. On behalf of GTJA (Vietnam), General Director Huang Bo attended, accompanied by the company’s senior leadership team. Representing Caitong Securities Hong Kong was Chairman Ruan Li, along with senior executives from the company.

Both parties have established a comprehensive cooperation framework aimed at fostering bilateral business development, sharing resources, and boosting competitiveness in the global financial market. This partnership is expected to expand business networks across Southeast and Northeast Asia, better meeting the needs of enterprises and investors, while offering diverse and superior financial services.

 

The two sides agreed to collaborate in the following areas:

1. Brokerage Activities: GTJA (Vietnam) will provide comprehensive securities services in Vietnam, including brokerage, advisory, and securities trading. Caitong Securities Hong Kong will introduce GTJA (Vietnam)’s business opportunities and services in Vietnam to potential clients and investors.

2. Investment Banking Activities: The two parties will cooperate in underwriting and offering financial services to Vietnamese enterprises, aiming to create stronger ties between the Chinese and Vietnamese capital markets.

3. Other Activities: The two parties will establish communication channels and collaborate on market research, resource sharing, and the development of new business ventures in the future.
